Due to COVID restrictions and for the safety and well being of all clients, the following procedures have been developed for the 2021 tax season and will continue for 2022 (preparation of 2021 tax returns).
There will be no face to face interviews in 2022. Virtual meetings will be scheduled via ZOOM for all new clients and any returning clients who request a meeting.
Information will be gathered by drop off at the office (close to Production Way sky train station in Burnaby), reguar post, or email. Use the checklist to be sure you have everything.
Returns will be prepared and sent as a password protected document to be checked and for signature. A signature indicates the return has been checked by you and the retrun is accepted as accurate with all income reported and deductions applied.
Once required signatures are obtained and returns are paid for, Canadian returns will be electronically transmitted to CRA with client copies available for pickup at the office or mailed out as agreed.
US returns will be mailed or available to the address on the return or available for pickup once paid for.
